So far, the maintenance of cartridge filters has been quite effective but not very environmentally friendly; the traditional method consists of removing the dirty cartridges, and through the use of compressed air these are dedusted, and in fact dispersing the dust into the environment. The disadvantages that result from this traditional system are many: first, from an ecological point of view, once the cartridges are cleaned free of dust, contamination occurs causing a potentially harmful impact, further endangering the operators; second, this system does not guarantee total regeneration of the cartridge and therefore the filter element is bound to be replaced soon.
HHFiltration has designed a new innovative system that fully performs the cleaning of the cartridges while respecting the environment and the filter itself: The principle of operation is still based on using compressed air, except that it is done in an enclosed and safe environment, which is why the dust does not spread into the environment.
The Filters Cleaning System (FCS) is designed specifically for industrial use and finds particular application in the regeneration of cartridge filters and panels filters installed on air filtration equipments.
Why do we talk about "filters regeneration"?
This term indicates a true recycling process of the filter element, postponing total replacement and extending the life of the cartridge. Through a simple act of maintenance we restore permeability to the filter element, making it suitable again for filtering pollutants. In this way, not only is there a saving in operating and maintenance costs of the system, but from an ecological point of view, less waste is also produced for disposal.
More or less regeneration cycles can be performed depending on the particle size of the dust we are going to filter: the finer the dust, the more difficult it is to get rid of it.
