It is in fact the hydrodynamic filter designed and manufactured by HFiltration. A dust, vapour and gas abatement system that exploits the effect of the micro-mixing of the air to be treated with water. Here the flows loaded with pollutants enter the plant, are strongly slowed down to facilitate the precipitation of harmful particles, then inside the venturi throat they bring with them part of the water during the centrifugation process. The latter will definitively break down the pollutants, before returning the air completely cleaned.
An advantage given by this type of plant, in addition to the high levels of performance, is linked to the absence of parts subject to wear and clogging, a factor that in fact almost completely eliminates the costs for maintenance.
IdroDust Compact: two versions to meet the needs of each customer
HFiltration has decided to design, in addition to the standard version, two further models of the hydrodynamic filter IdroDust Compact™:
- IdroDust Compact™ with Sludge dredge, whose operation is similar to the standard one, with the difference of the automated discharge of sludge into a special sedimentation tank. Dust and sludge are first deposited on the bottom of the tank, then collected by scrapers and mechanically conveyed to an outlet for disposal. This will avoid downtime for removal of captured pollutants.
- IdroDust Compact™ with Pump Venturi, equipped with a 250 liter capacity water tank connected directly to the filter tank. This cistern with pump pushes the fluid in a rigid pipeline to the nozzles inserted in the venturi tube, in such a way as to take the air flow even before entering the filter.
