Galdram, an italian company, needed to replace the inappropriate technologies (washing tower and pocket filters) installed for the abatement of oils and VOCs from the withering and drying furnace used for metal drums after painting process.
Before our intervention
These two installations were impossible to reach the appropriate outlet emission parameters, which is the principle reason why they started having problems with the neighborhood.
After our intervention
We recommended a solution to the customer consisting of: pre-treatment by using an MCOS coalescing filter to remove oil mists and resins from the drying process, followed by a thermal oxidizer to permanently abate VOCs and odours from the painting process
